	Welcome to the page we have built to share with you our love of the Bloodhound breed. We do NOT breed Bloodhounds but rather rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome these wonderful dogs with Police Departments, Search & Rescue Handlers, and sometimes as Companions. Bloodhounds are a magnificent breed but are most suitable as working dogs. This is one of the reasons this wonderful breed is being euthanized in large numbers when surrendered to shelters (especially in the south). If you are considering a Bloodhound as a Companion, please visit several breeders and DO YOUR HOMEWORK! They are ADORABLE babies but are not always the best family companions (food aggression, roaming, drooling, etc).
