Police Patrol K-9's

Welcome to the page dedicated to those awesome dogs that we have proudly placed into working homes as Police Patrol K-9's. Patrol K-9's are very important members of a Police Department. They are trained in tracking of felons, are highly Obedience trained, are trained to overcome physical obstacles such as fences, trenches, and walls, are trained to search buildings for intruders, as well as protection of their handler.

K-9 Sirius was placed with the CT State Police in February 2000. He has proved himself over & over by serving on the SWAT Team and is crosstrained in Search & Rescue, as well as has participated in several very high profile tragedies such as his time spend at Ground Zero the week following 9/11 as well as many others around New England. *9/4/07 - Update - We are sad to announce that K-9 Sirius has passed away due to illness. He will be greatly missed.

K-9 Cole was placed with the York County Sheriff's Dept, ME in 2001. He serves as a Patrol K-9. Cole is the proud recipient of a Ballistic Vest which was donated by the Vest-a-Dog Foundation. THANK YOU Vest-a-Dog for caring to keep our boy safe!!

K-9 Ox was placed with the Middletown, CT Police Deptartment in the fall of 2000. He and his handler graduated from the CT State Police Canine Academy. Ox and his handler served Middletown, CT until 2004 when they both transferred to Lyndonville, VT Police Department. *Update 8/9/08 - K-9 Ox has been retired from active duty with the Lyndonville PD. He will continue living with his handlers family to continue being spoiled rotten. :o) **Update 7/6/09 - We are sad to announce the loss of K-9 Ox due to Cancer. He will be greatly missed by all.

K-9 Jagger was placed with the Massachusetts Dept of Corrections in June 2003 with the help of the Rotti Rescue of NE.

K-9 Diesel was placed with the CT State Police in the winter/spring of 2001. He and his handler were given several awards (Lifesaving, etc) during their years together. He and his handler work from the "H" Troop in Hartford and are crosstrained as a Patrol/Search & Rescue Team. *Diesel was retired from duty in the fall of 2006.

K-9 Wizard was placed in Dec 2004 with the Littleton Police Department, NH. He has been certified as a Patrol, Narcotics, and SWAT K-9. We are proud to announce that we were able to supply a Ballistic Vest for Wizard to help keep him safe while serving the residents of Littleton. *7/31/08 -Wizard was retired from the Littleton PD and he is looking forward to the rest of his years as a loved Family Member with his handler's family.

K-9 Visar (Visar Vom Germelhaus, BH) was placed with the CT State Police in 2005. Visar and his handler were the recipients of several awards including several for Lifesaving prior to Visar's retirement. Visar is the sire of both our "F" & "H" Litters and Grandfather of our "I" & "J" Litters.
