| Cara Von Monte-Haus, CGC K-9 Cara was placed with a handler of the LASAR Team in June 2004. Cara is a Certified Canine Good Citizen and is in training as a Wilderness Search K-9. Unfortunatly her training was suspended after she and her human family lost their home during Hurricane Katrina in Sept 2005. | K-9 Junior was placed with a member of the Middlesex County Sheriff's Dept, MA. Junior had a very sad story of being severely abused by a burgler with Mace & Raid while his owner was being murdered. He was then taken to the Humane Society who had a difficult time finding the proper home for such a high energy dog. We knew of a handler looking to start a SAR Dog and we were lucky enough to be able to hook them up. Junior is now certified as a SAR K-9. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Monte's Cajun Duke K-9 Duke was placed in 2006 with another member of the Middlesex County Sheriff's Dept in Massachusetts. Duke is trained and certified as a Search & Rescue K-9. |

| Monte's Molly Mae of Broken Bow K-9 Molly Mae was placed in 2008 with a member of the Worcester County Sheriff's Dept in Massachusetts. Molly Mae's new handler will be training her over the next year or two so she will be ready for certification by the time he is ready to retire his current K-9. We wish Molly Mae and her new handler luck in the future and many successful "live finds"! |
